History
Frazers Chartered Surveyors was formed in 1987 by Matthew Lewis. Initially the Partnership functioned alongside Frazers Estate Agents in Walton-upon-Thames, Woking, West Byfleet and Sutton. In 1989, Frazers Estate Agents was sold whereupon Frazers Chartered Surveyors became an independent firm. The practice expanded rapidly, with offices at Kingston-upon-Thames, Woking and Camberley. In 1989 the practice was rationalised to offices at Woking and Kingston-upon-Thames.
Matthew Lewis BSc FRICS - Summary of Qualifications and Experience
Matthew has an Honours Degree in Estate Management from the College of Estate Management, Reading University. He obtained his Test of Professional Competence whilst working with Surrey County Council within the Valuation & Estates Department. In addition to the valuation of traditional commercial and domestic properties, Matthew was involved in specialist valuation work involving educational and Social Services establishments, together with negotiation in connection with road widening schemes.
Matthew was elected an Associate Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1982. He subsequently worked for Mann & Co Chartered Surveyors, a then national firm of estate agents and surveyors, carrying out general practice surveying work together with domestic valuations and surveys.
Matthew then became a director of Mann & Co Surveyors in 1985.
In 1987, Matthew became the senior partner of Frazers Professional Services, an independent firm of Chartered Surveyors, specialising in general practice surveying work. Frazers currently has surveying offices at Hampton, Middlesex and Woking. The company was incorporated in 2004.
